In a move designed to increase occupancy in their hospital, Kuakini Medical Center developed and sold a Medical Office building to individuals and groups of physicians.

The Board of Directors chose The Harris Company to be construction manager. Development of the office building entailed widening the street in front of Kuakini hospital, and construction of a 400 stall parking garage at the rear of the campus.
